No building waste in general or green bins. General and green waste bins, in every size including the 2m³, 3m³ and 4m³, are for household rubbish and garden waste only. No soil, concrete, bricks, tiles, renovation waste or other building products. If you have building waste, or large amounts of MDF cabinets and furniture, you’ll need to upgrade to a builders bin. Soil, concrete, bricks and tiles can go in our 2m³ to 8m³ builders & mixed bins with no weight limit, but not in the 9m³ or 12m³ light builders bins.
With high sides and a drop-down door, the 8m³ swallows a serious amount of material. It’s still a heavy waste bin, so even a full load of soil or concrete won’t attract a weight charge.
Because it’s a larger bin, check your driveway has room for it and clear access for our truck. Not sure? Send us a photo and we’ll let you know.
Soil, clay, sand, rock, bricks, tiles, pavers and concrete count as heavy waste. Our 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8m³ bins take it with no weight limit. Pure concrete loads (reo is fine) get a cheaper rate.
